"You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother's womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous-- how well I know it." Psalm 139: 13-14
My kitchen is full of appliances that all have electric wires, capacitors, resistors, and diodes. They all have many of the same components and yet they are put together with just enough differences to make them each different and each has a few unique parts added on to make them serve a specific purpose. For example, in addition to electric wires, capacitors, resistors, and diodes the toaster has heating elements so it can get hot and make bread into toast. The blender has the addition of a small motor and a blade so that it can spin quickly and mix things up. God made each of us with special gifts so that we, too, will be able to perform a pre-designed purpose.
The next question is: What is your special purpose? How are you unique? What special gifts have you been given and to what pre-designed purpose will they perform?
You are not just any model; a random mix of parts flung into the world to hang out for a few decades. You are a Designer Model; fearfully and wonderfully made; knit together by the hand of God to serve a pre-recorded purpose.
"You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed." Psalm 139: 15-16
