NOW THIS WOULD TRANSFORM A HOT SUMMER NIGHT |
Imagine what it must have been like to see him appear in the flesh once again with clothes so dazzling white there was nothing on earth that compared to it. Not to mention, he was hanging out with Elijah and Moses carrying on a conversation. What a sight that must have been!
My perception of Jesus has transfigured over the years more like a long journey than any one particular instance that I can recall. Although I have seen some mighty impressive displays of granduer, I have not seen him dazzled in bright white clothes. Often there have been times when I have truly felt his undeniable presence. As I study his word, his walk on the earth, and his promises I iam ncreasingly amazed at the fact that he could be, as Beth Moore described, so near to us and yet so far, far beyond us.

PRAY WITH ME:
Lord, I pray for all of those who seek you that they will come to know you personally through your son Jesus Christ. Thank you for sending your Son to walk among us, to understand this human experience, and to save us from all wickedness. Open the eyes of those who are looking for you that they would find you and delight in your magnificence. Open the hearts of those who seek you that they would receive you and allow you to transform their hearts and minds. In Jesus Name, Amen.
